MSI 701 Thesis Proposal (2 credits)
This course is designed to help students develop their thesis proposal. The proposal sets forth the parameters of the intended work. It should have substance, reflect a carefully articulated approach to the subject, and a literature review.

MSI 702 Thesis Research (2 credits)
Under the thesis chair’s guidance, the student produces a major portion of the thesis draft. The thesis chair, working with the student, will set the deliverables for the course, but, at a minimum, students should provide at least three draft chapters of their thesis and show continued progression in research and writing. (Prerequisite: completion of MSI 701 with a “B” or higher.)

MSI 703 Thesis Completion (2 credits)
Under the thesis chair and reader, the student completes the master’s thesis. (Prerequisite: completion of MSI 702 with a “B” or higher.)
