Full-Time Students
The College notifies individuals they are nominated by their parent organization to attend the College on a full-time basis and provides application materials if the nominee has not already submitted applicant's materials. The Admissions staff will periodically advise applicants of the status of their application packages. However, a nomination to attend does not constitute Admissions to the College and prospective students must submit the appropriate Admissions credentials in accordance with published deadlines. As a general rule, the Admissions Office informs full-time applicants of their eligibility status within 4–6 weeks after their application package is complete.

Part-Time Students
Admissions decision letters for part-time applicants are mailed out during the first week of June for the following programs:

 Evening MSSI
 Monthly Executive Format MSSI
 MSSI Program for Reserves
 Graduate Center at NSA
 Graduate Center at NGA
 DIA Employee Cohort

Applicants for weekday part-time study (space available) may apply at any time and may register for classes in the quarter after their application has been approved. Acceptance letters will be sent out within 6–8 weeks of receipt of the application.
